Welcome to Cambridge Sensotec, where innovation meets reliability! Are you looking for a reliable and efficient gas analyser that goes above and beyond industry standards? Look no further.
The Rapidox 7100 Multigas Analyser is a high specification instrument designed for the analysis, control and monitoring of process gas in a wide range of industries. It allows the option of selecting multiple gas sensing configurations to suit the particular application. The analyser is housed within a 19″ (482mm) enclosure for convenient mounting into an industry-standard test equipment rack.
Up to seven gases are simultaneously measured using a range of high precision gas sensors; each sensor is specially designed and calibrated to avoid any cross-interference effects with the background process gas. Safety is ensured by the inclusion of flashback arrestors in the gas measuring circuit where required. Measurable gases include amongst others: CO2, CO, H2O, O2, C2H4, SO2, CH4, H2 and H2S.
When configured for applications where the gases are energy-containing (e.g. Biogas, Syngas) the calorific value of the gas sample is determined using thermodynamic calculations and simultaneously logged and displayed on-screen.
An optional pump enables two modes of operations. For samples that are taken from a gas source at atmospheric pressure or below, the pump is activated to draw a sample through the analyser. Alternatively, the pump can be deactivated when sampling from a source at greater than atmospheric, allowing the gas to flow through the analyser. Gas flow is regulated manually via a rotary knob on the fascia and displayed electronically on the screen.
Standard features include two fully programmable alarm circuits (volt free contacts), programmable analogue outputs (0-10V and 4-20mA), easy calibration (user selectable gases), RS232 / RS485 communications and complete data-logging software.
A 7″ (180mm) full-colour touch screen interface with soft menu keys allows for easy operation in either permanent monitoring or sampling modes. All data is continuously logged for review and inspection and Excel compatible data can be downloaded via a USB memory stick.
Cambridge Sensotec offers a range of Rapidox servicing options. Regular gas analyser calibration significantly increases the measurement, reliability and repeatability of equipment. A full service is available via state-of-the-art automated stations, designed to calibrate Rapidox gas analysers accurately and efficiently.
MAKE PRODUCT ENQUIRYThe Rapidox 3100 range includes precision single, dual and triple gas analysis instruments providing powerful functionality and extensive features. Designed for process, research and development applications, this gas analyser range has proven very popular with universities and research institutes worldwide.
Typical gas analysis configurations include a combination of oxygen and another gas. However, other compatible gas sensors arrangements can be specified. Measurable gases include oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), moisture (H2O), ethylene (C2H2), chlorine (Cl2), methane (CH2), nitrous oxide (N2O), nitric oxide (NO), ammonia (NH2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and ozone (O2) to suit the application.

Rapidox gas analysers can be used within a wide range of applications. Please visit our application page for further details. If you are unsure of which Rapidox is most appropriate for your application, then please contact Cambridge Sensotec. Our experienced sales team will be happy to assess your gas analysis requirements and advise on a suitable solution.
Cambridge Sensotec prides ourselves on our personal after-sales service. We are here to help you with any technical or application queries that you may have at any point after purchasing your Rapidox. In addition, we offer the Team Viewer service that enables remote diagnostics for a rapid response, should you experience technical difficulties with your Rapidox.
It may be possible to rent a Rapidox analyser, dependent on availability. Please contact Cambridge Sensotec for further details.
All calibrated Rapidox analysers are accompanied by an authenticated calibration certificate. This is signed by our Head of Quality Control and includes details of the sensor signal, test gas concentration, reading and deviation values. Further details note the specific Rapidox serial number and calibration configuration file. As part of the company’s ISO 9001 standards, all calibration data is recorded for the purposes of sending calibration reminders or for the reissue of lost calibration certificates. Please contact Cambridge Sensotec for further details.
It is recommended that gas analysers are re-calibrated every twelve months as a minimum and ideally every six months, to verify that the gas sensors are responding correctly and to improve measurement accuracy, consistency and reliability. Cambridge Sensotec offers a full calibration service (see the After Sales page on the left hand side) for a range of gas analysis and detection equipment, in addition to a variety of calibration gases.
All Rapidox gas analysers are manufactured within the Cambridge Sensotec facilities in Cambridgeshire, UK.
The static range of Rapidox analysers (1100, 2100, 3100 and 7100) are fitted with RS232 communication outputs as standard. There is the option of configuring RS485 communications at the point of order, which will enable the Rapidox to be used with a PLC or other control devices.
